  University of Utah President Michael Young spoke at the Opening Convocation for LEAP Students on September 1 at The Gazebo on Officers’ Circle. He encouraged students to make the most of their educations by taking classes in unfamiliar but intriguing subjects from faculty who would not spoon feed them, but rather engage and challenge them. An audience of over 400 LEAP students and campus partners enjoyed the talk, the sunny weather, and a buffet of fruit and dessert.
