Phi Eta Sigma

Phi Eta Sigma is a National Honor Society, established in 1923, specifically for first-year freshmen in universities and colleges. To be invited to join, students must have a 3.5 grade point average, and carry a full academic load. Membership is lifetime. The induction ceremony is held in the spring. LEAP faculty member Dr. Carolan Ownby is the faculty advisor to the University of Utah Chapter of Phi Eta Sigma.
